Prof. B L V Prasad, Director, CeNS received the MRSI-CNR Rao Prize Lecture Award during the Annual General Meeting of MRSI at IIT(BHU) Varanasi.
Prof. B L V Prasad, Director, CeNS have been elected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) for the year 2023, for his major contributions in the field of synthesis of metal nanoparticles and their assemblies and applications of soft and Nano-materials.
Dr C. V. Yelamaggad, has been appointed as Dr T M A Pai Endowment Chair in Advance Functional Materials. This is a prestigious academic appointment in Manipal Academy of Higher Education created in memory of the founder Dr. T M A Pai to promote excellence in teaching and research. The tenure of this Endowment Chair will be for one year initially which is extendable for further period.
Prof. B L V Prasad selected to the CNR Rao prize lecture in Advanced Materials by the Materials Research Society of India for the year 2023. The award will be presented during the Annual General Meeting of MRSI scheduled at IIT (BHU) Varanasi during December 12-15, 2023

Dr Ashutosh Singh selected as the best reviewers for the year 2022 in the Bulletin of Materials Science Journal.
Athira Chandran has won the Best Poster Award at International Conference on Nanomaterials for Electro-Catalysis Technology(I-CONECT 2023) conference organized by IIT, Delhi, on 20-23 March 2023. The poster titled "Electrodeposited Co-Mn-Sn multicomponent alloy as an efficient electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction" was based on her recent research.
Trupthi Devaiah has won the Best Poster Award at International Conference on Advanced Materials: Properties and Applications (ICAM-2023) conference organized by Goa University. The poster titled "Insights into the Growth Mechanism of Ternary Metal Chalcogenides" was based on her recent research work.
