Ms Nurjahan Khatun (Thesis supervisor: Dr Geetha G Nair), a senior PhD scholar, is selected as one of the four finalists for her proposal titled "Soft 3D Photonic Crystal-based Tunable Multichannel Waveguide in Optical Frequencies" submitted to Nano Letters Seed Grant Program. The citation on the Nano Letters (ACS publications) website says, "While only one winner could be selected in this region, we would like to highlight four finalists. These runners-up submitted outstanding proposals with great potential in many different fields, all of them of great interest for Nano Letters."
