Library
The library is automated based on the open source software Koha. Besides subscribing to the print version of some select journals and periodicals, it provides access to several e-journals and databases (like web of Science and SciFinder) through the National Knowledge Resource Consortium (NKRC). It coordinates with other libraries under NKRC to procure soft copies of research papers. The current holdings of the library include, in addition to books of general interest in physics and chemistry, several important monographs pertaining to Nano and Soft Matter Sciences.
