Research Interests
- Printed electronics: Strategies to develop conducting, semiconducting and dielectric inks using liquid phase exfoliation are being pursued to use them in printed electronics by fabricating various devices like photodetectors, RFIDs, and capacitors.
- Electrochemical energy storage devices and sensors: To develop new protocols for layered materials by using solid state and other wet chemicals methods and utilize them for energy storage and conversion applications like batteries and micro-supercapacitors. The synthesized materials also have been used for electrochemical biosensing of important molecules like glucose, dopamine, acetaminophen, and salicylic acid.
- Organic Photovoltaics (OPV): Research efforts in the fabrication of organic photovoltaics and tandem cells are being carried out to increase the stability and large-area device fabrication.
