Independence Day
CeNS celebrated 76th Independence Day by hoisting the national flag and singing the national anthem. Following which, a Cyclothon (a bicycle rally) was organised by CeNS. The event began at 10 am and the CeNSians who took part in the cyclothon, cycled a distance of 10 km, covering Shivanapura and other neighboring villages. In addition to this, CeNS staff visited the Government Schools of Mallapura and Hullegowdanahalli and inspired the students to pursue Science related activities. Later an Ashoka tree (SaracaAsoca) was planted to commemorate and conclude the Azadi Ka Amruth Mahotsav event at CeNS.
