Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS) has scheduled a series of eventsto commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's Independence – Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. As part of these celebrations, a Lecture to motivate researchers towards entrepreneurship and thusan Atmanirbhar Bharat was organized on June 14, 2021.  The talk was given by Dr. Arun M. Isloor on "Motivational Entrepreneurs for Young Researchers."He is Professor & Head, Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Karnataka He began by saying how to make good use of time during this pandemic time, get motivated from the achievements of big personalities, etc.  He quoted several examples of people who rose from the bottom to achieve startling performances. Examples included Dhirumbai Ambani, Thomas Alva Edison, Karsanbi Patel, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Mark Zuckerberg and R.P Joshi.  The speaker also delineated the initiatives take by our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji on Startup India Action Plan.
