National Innovation Day

A Special Lecture on the occasion of National Innovation Day was organized on "India warming up to cold fusion" by Prof. Prahlada Ramarao on October 12 2021. Prof.  Prahlada Ramarao began his lecture by expressing his regards and sharing his experience with Prof. APJ Abdul Kalam, whom he considers his mentor. He described him as the ideal Project Director at DRDO. Then he explained his current project "LENR-Low energy nuclear reaction" anomalous heating obtained by using a few grams of the material like nickel palladium, etc. He mentioned that it is a low-cost portable energy device, highly efficient, and has attracted funding from the Government of India and other sources to develop it further.
