Kala Fiesta

The 'Kala Fiesta,' as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav (AKAM) celebration was held on 18 August 2021 at Nabhangana. All the students, faculty, and administrative staff were invited to participate in the program.‘Nabhangan’, the amphitheater was lamp-lit for the evening. The program started with the lighting of the lamp by the Director, Prof BLV Prasad, and the Chief Guest, Prof. GU Kulkarni, followed by an invocation song.The cultural program started with a marvelous Rabindra Nritya and a Malayalam ghazal. A poem recitation and a beautiful chorus performance representing India's colors was followed. The audience were also treated to a funny drama scripted and directedby the students. A power-packed fusion dance performance enthralled the audience. The students also performed an intense piece that was dedicated to the brave warriors of the Indian armed forces, who dedicate their lives every day to the security of the nation and its citizens. A delighful performance presented by the Chief Guests, Prof. GU Kulkarni and Mrs. Indira Kulkarni was a pleasant surprise to the audience. The winners of the various AKAM events were presented with the prizes. Prof BLV Prasadin his speech appreciatied the excellent performance of the students.
