Launch of Scientific Blog

In the spirit of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) celebrations at CeNS, a Scientific blog activity has been initiated. This official Blog platform of CeNS, hosted on the CeNS website and launched in 15 May 2021, is intended to bring out the vibrant scientific thought process that characterizes the Centre as reflected in the opening blog by the Director. An Editorial Board comprising four faculty members, a content-coordinator and a web-hosting in-charge,has been constituted by the Director. The emphasis of this activity is to encourage, especially the research students, to write crisp, attractive and informative popular scientific content, which will be moderated by the Editorial Board. Blogs titled, “Biomimetics–Nature’s intellectual property at our service” by Nikhil Rao, JRF, and “Fog, wood, cooler rooms, and new radar technology” by Pragnya Satapathy, SRF, have already been posted, and are well received.
