CeNS organized a one-day symposium titled “Emerging Trends in Liquid Crystal Research” on 15 October 2019. Speakers from prestigious institutes from all over the country presented their recent findings covering various topics in the field of liquid crystals and related soft materials research to an audience of nearly 80 research students and scientists. As part of the event, the 60th birthday of Dr. S. Krishna Prasad, an eminent liquid crystal scientist, was celebrated given his valuable contribution to the field of liquid crystal science.
