ICONSAT (International Conference on Nano Science and Technology) is the series of biennial International Conference held in India under the aegis of Nano Mission, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to bring to fore the recent advances in the area of nano science and technology. The conferences of the series have earlier been hosted by premier institutes, IISER-Pune (2016), INST Mohali (2014), ARCI Hyderabad (2012), IIT Bombay (2010), IGCAR Kalpakkam (2008), IIT Delhi (2006) and SINP Kolkata (2003).
The Nano Mission, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has accorded administrative clearance for the organization of ICONSAT–2018 by the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS), Bengaluru. The event will be held during March 21-23, 2018 in Bengaluru with the JN Tata Auditorium and Satish Dhawan Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) campus as the venue.
ICONSAT 2018 will be focusing on several thematic topics in the field of nanoscience and technology, bringing out cutting-edge developments in the domain of materials as well as biological sciences.
The Conference proposes to host several luminaries from the academia, industrial leaders and young entrepreneurs from all over the world as speakers. It also aims to provide a potential platform for the young researchers and students from within the country and abroad to keep pace with the latest in the field. Participants (researchers, young faculty, postdoctoral fellows and senior Ph. D. students) both from within and outside India are expected to take part in the proceedings
