  11th Edition of BENGALURU INDIA NANO held during 2-3, March 2020 at Lalit 
 Ashok, Bengaluru.From the Centre, 5 faculty members and 10 Ph. D. students 
 participated in the event organized by the Dept. of IT, BT and S&amp;T, Gov
 t. of Karnataka in association with Karnataka’s Vision Group on Science and
  Technology. In the months leading to the event, various faculty members an
 d research scholars from CeNS were involved in a unique series of outreach 
 programme, “Nano Jhatha”, organized by Karnataka Science and Technology Pro
 motion Society (KSTePS), across various parts of the country to educate the
  school and college students about Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.\nDuring 
 the BENGALURU INDIA NANO stall exhibition, research scholars from Prof. G.U
  Kulkarni's group showcased their in-house inventions translated to prototy
 pe 'Smart Windows' based on two different technology. The ‘Smart Windows’ r
 eceived high recognition from the industry and academic visitors, and NEWS 
 articles regarding these protoypes were published in various Newspapers and
  other media. \n CeNS bagged the “Best Exhibitor Award for the Year 2020” i
 n the category of Interactive and Best Managed Stall. CeNS students also wo
 n two “Best Poster Awards”; Mr. Ramesh Chandra Sahoo for his poster entitle
 d “Role of Transition Metals in Layered Double Hydroxides for Differentiati
 ng the Oxygen Evolution and Nonenzymatic Glucose Sensing" and Mr. Indrajit 
 Mondal for his work titled "SnO2 coated large area Aluminum micromesh as lo
 w-cost transparent conducting electrode for liquid crystal-based smart wind
