 eness Week starting 27th Oct. to Nov. 2, 2020. Banners carrying information
  about the observation of the event and the contact details of the Centre’s
  Vigilance Officer was displayed at the prominent place of the Centre. The 
 Integrity Pledge circulated by the GoI was communicated to all the employee
 s of the Centre. An open book essay competition-on the topic: Vigilant Indi
 a, Prosperous India -was held as a part of the event. Participants in the e
 vent were in good number which included members from the students group (se
 nior/junior research fellows), administration staff, and also scientists. A
  team of judges evaluated the essays. The evaluation was done, keeping in m
 ind English, presentation/coherency, aspects covered in mind.\n\n\n The mai
 n event was on Nov. 2, 2020. Dr. D.S Shankar Rao, VO, CeNS administered the
  pledge with the theme “‘सतर्क भारत, समृद्ध भारत, (Vigilant India, Prospero
 us India)”, and was repeated by the members of Centre. Following this was f
 elicitation to the top three contestants of the essay competition with a ca
 sh award and a certificate. Besides, all the other competitors are given a
